I would never admit my madness, but then again, I am anonymous as the bootyfreak.
But then again, most wouldn't admit they have a porn collection outside of the internet community.
We all have different methods, but we must have SOME basic method of filing our porn.
For me it is like this:
First directory, is the type of porn that it is:
Art, Boobs, British, Celebs, Hair Type, Magazines, Models, Models Adult, Stars (meaning porn stars), Teens
Then within each of those directories is where I'd put in the model's folder (will give an example for each of the directories listed above)
Art/Julius Zimmerman , Boobs/Danni Ashe , British/Terese May , Celebs/Dana Delaney , Hair Type/Red Heads/Miss Bunny , Magazines/Penthouse/Samantha Michaels , Models/Cindy Crawford , Models Adult/Silvie Thomas , Stars/Tori Welles , Teens/MeganQT
Then within each models folder, of course would be the set or series.
And that would first be designated as a FF, FFM, FFFF, X, XFFM, X FMM if not solo, then location (Outdoors, Outside, Sheets, Couch, Parlor, Bathroom, or Background), then the clothes that are worn (White Lingerie, Denim Skirt, Red Shorts, White Pants, or Black Body Suit).
As far as full movies, that just gets a whole other harddrive.
Suze Randall sets stay numbered as she set them up, the folder won't be renamed in that case (easy enough to just look up the number).
Don't think there is a better way to keep track of what you have.
I wonder if others just put them all in one folder. LOL You have to be organized when you start a collection, otherwise you pick up the same set 5 more times without knowing it.
Or you could just put all the models in one folder, but that would take much too long to load and would not be as fast.
Some might think I am crazy now.

M:\Stars\Tori Welles\FF W Brandy Sanders
M:\Boobs\Danni Ashe\Pooltable Animal Print Bikini
M:\British\Teresa May\Outside W Cowboy Hat
M:\Models Adult\Silvie Thomas\X FMM in Elevator
M:\Teens\Jen Hilton\Outside in Purple Mesh
M:\Soft Porn Stars\Nikki Fritz\Bathroom W Yellow Lingerie

I am organizing my porn by names, such as company names and porn stars' names. but, if you have some videos you do not know any names, you can category them by countries.

category 1 C (delete list, can be deleted whenever my HDD space run out)
category 2 B (normal stuff)
category 3 A (Must back up files)
category 4 New (haven't watch)
it can help me to get rid of some NOT IMPORTANT stuffs
