◎简　　介

　　未来世界陷入外星人入侵的恐慌中，军事演说家凯奇少校（汤姆·克鲁斯 Tom Cruise 饰）畏惧上战场，他从没想过将军（布莱丹·格里森 Brendan Gleeson 饰）会让他去指挥即将开始的“诺曼底战役”，拒绝接受命令之后将军居然恶整了他，那就是把他当做逃兵扔进了军 营中。凯奇被归入了J小队中进行战斗，战役的第一天就惨死在战场，没想到这一死让他拥有了时空循环的能力，而唯一相信他的人就是被称为“全金属战士”的丽塔·沃拉塔斯基（艾米莉·布朗特 Emily Blunt 饰）。二人开始了时空循环作战，在训练凯奇的同时他们发现了控制时间的奥秘，这与外星人“主脑”欧米茄有关，但是唯一能取得胜利的方法就是让凯奇不断死去、不断重启时间。在不断重复登陆那天的战斗的同时，凯奇越来越不想失去丽塔…

　　1、本片改编自日本作家樱坂洋的轻小说《杀戮轮回》。但一开始剧组就认为原著的标题过于残酷，与电影版偏喜剧的气氛不符，之后剧组曾用过“我们都是凡人”的标题，最终改为“明日边缘”。
　　2、影片大部分戏份在英国取景。拍摄地Leavesden Studio曾经是哈利·波特系列影片的片场。
　　3、影片中比尔·凯奇中士的角色原定由布拉德·皮特出演。他曾经与导演里曼合作过《史密斯夫妇》。
　　4、汤姆·克鲁斯自从2012年7月20日加入本片的剧组开始筹备工作。那距离他上一部电影《遗落战境》关机尚不到一周时间。

　　电影改编自日本作家樱坂洋原著、安倍吉俊插画的轻小说《杀戮轮回》（All you need is kill），2010年4月，华纳兄弟花了约300美元买下了小说改编版权，但剧组认为《杀戮轮回》这个名字过于血腥，于是将片名改为《明日边缘》（Edge of Tomorrow）。影片于2012年10月1日在英国开机拍摄，拍摄地是利文斯顿片场，此前这里曾是《哈利-波特》的拍摄地。影片投资1.78亿美元，由道格-里曼（《谍影重重》、《史密斯行动》）执导，汤姆-克鲁斯领衔主演，影片的艺术指导是《独立日》的奥立弗-施多尔，摄影指导是曾获得奥斯卡提名的迪恩-比贝，视觉效果总监是参与过《蝙蝠侠：黑暗骑士》的尼可-达维斯，团队阵容十分华丽。道格-里曼此前执导的一部间谍片《谍影重重》迄今已接近十年，他最初看到本片剧本时非常兴奋，“剧本非常出彩，它融合了好莱坞大片中所有精彩元素，还选择了全新的视角来演绎。”。

　　汤姆-克鲁斯于2012年7月20日加入本片的筹备工作，与他上一部电影《遗落战境》关机不到一周时间。年过50的汤姆-克鲁斯近年来仍不断接拍高难度动作片，2011年他玩命般地悬吊在世界最高的建筑，这次出演《明日边缘》又亲自身穿巨大的金属铠甲参与战斗，“我需要旋转身体，找到操纵它的办法，这身铠甲重达85到125磅”，阿汤哥的敬业精神令人钦佩。此外，汤姆-克鲁斯在拍摄一场汽车跌落的戏时受伤，拍戏艰苦程度可见一斑。女主角艾米莉也表示拍摄这部戏是“多么的痛苦”，一些特训也让她吃不消。
　　影片首映后，被媒体一致盛赞是2014年夏季最佳大片之一，“战场打斗异常凶猛，影片巧妙地平衡了动作、幽默、勇气、非完美主义英雄等元素”。

当年这部影片是在电影院里看的首映，刚开始看前半个小时的时候，觉得有些后悔了，因为冲着阿汤哥来看的，发现看了部垃圾片，可是后来的剧情却是想象不到，导演的能力非常强，这种有些烧脑的故事，能让你在看完以后还想回看一下，而且回看之后觉得虽然是科幻片，但是却让你找不到什么毛病的地方，只会让你陷入深深的思考当中，然后发出一声“哦，原来如此”的感慨！
